What makes Little Learners the right choice for your child’s preschool experience?
Here are some of the many reasons...
Curriculum. We provide a Christian-based, academic curriculum and an exciting hands-on approach to learning.
Drive-up, Drop-off Service. Drive right up to the preschool’s front door, and the Director will be there to assist your son or daughter out of the vehicle and into the building. Parents are always welcome to come in if they would like to. The preschool entrance is exclusively for preschool families only, with enhanced security features.
Extended Care. Our students are welcome to “stay and play” before and after school on any desired days, with drop-in availability. No advance notice is necessary, and charges are based only on the time the student is with us during Extended Care. Extended Care hours are 7:30-8:45 a.m. and 11:45 a.m.-5:30 p.m. every day.
Gymnasium. What better way to start the day than riding Big Wheels and bikes? That’s what we do! Our gym is full of them! And during the harsh Nebraska weather, it’s so nice to have a gym to play in.
Spacious Classrooms. We are blessed to have large classroom areas that allow us to offer a variety of activities for our students.
Our Activity Room is where the students explore the various Centers: Art, Computer, Building and Blocks, Reading, and Dramatic Play, to name a few. This is also the room where we have snack and craft time. It’s the room where our students can be a little loud and messy.
Our Academic Room is the quieter room, where our students gather to discuss the calendar and weather, go over the Job Helpers chart for the day, participate in the Character Trait lesson that incorporates a Bible story and a verse, and work on letters and numbers.
Field Trips and weekly Show ‘n Share. To supplement the curriculum, we take 3-4 field trips each year, and have special guests visit the preschool. Show ‘n Share is a special time each Thursday and Friday.
Parent-Teacher Conferences. Prior to conferences, our teachers do extensive evaluations of our students at the beginning of the school year and then prior to the conferences held each semester.
Professional, qualified, and friendly staff. Our staff is made up of well-qualified individuals who are continually looking for new ways and better ideas to equip and educate our students.
